I made some sourdough starter first, but after only ~24 hours I used it already to make the bread. Surprisingly, the bread rose quite a bit. Much more than I had expected... Usually the baker makes a cut (or several of them) on top of the bread to avoid what happened to mine: It openened up on the side... now it looks like the bread wants to eat you!
